Seminars for groomers

Amy Brown

President, National Association of Professional Creative Groomers, Editor, Creative Groomer Quarterly Magazine Amy Brown

Amy Brown has been working with pets since the age of 15, when she took a part-time job at a veterinary clinic. She spent over 20 years in the veterinary field as a technician before accepting an apprenticeship at a local grooming shop. At the end of her two-year apprenticeship, she opened her own business from home, focusing more on quality than quantity. Despite being located in a small Southern town, she has established a highly reputable, professional business after operating for only a few short years. Amy's business was featured in the PAWsitively Posh article from Groomer to Groomer's Nov/Dec 2009issue. In addition to running her salon, she is a founder and executive officer of the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers, the first and only organization dedicated solely to creative grooming. She also writes and edits for the NAPCG magazine and is currently developing educational material for established and aspiring creative groomers everywhere.
