Kitty Dekeersgieter, the winner of “World Champion Poodle Groomer” and the Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award for “International Groomer Of The Year” (Intergroom, USA) very successfully conducted multiple master classes at Zoo Russia Professional Exhibition 2010.

During the first session Kitty share your world class business ideas for more success, which are based on Kitty’s experiences in her successful grooming shop “Salon Kitty”. Kitty explained how she managed to create customer loyalty and how she made money by organizational techniques and mind control. Kitty told the audience that she believes that everybody can be more successful if they choose to be. She also shared your expertise in regards to how to satisfy the customers to bring them back again and again to invest in yourself, build your own image, hone your skills to perfection and how working with procedures leads to more success.

The second session was a hands-on demonstration of the euro styling and angulation of the poodle. Kitty managed to transform the dog into European styled dogs in no time at all. During this workshop style seminar groomers observed everything what was happening and were able to enjoy a hands-on learning experience. Kitty explained how she looks and evaluates dogs to be able to see the correct angulation. Kitty also showed how to save time by scissoring specific areas short and then joining them together which made it possible for the dog look more elegant and accentuate the angulation.

Last session was a demonstration where Kitty showed how to scissor a long coated breed in the shortest amount of time. She showed the different techniques for commercial grooming with less effort, fast but still elegant. She also used different grooming tools and took time to explain the features and benefits of the equipment.
